Help Shape Kitsap’s Healthcare Future! The Alliance for Equitable Healthcare (AEH), a local non-profit organization, is launching a grassroots effort to get a countywide Public Hospital District (PHD) on the November 2026 ballot—and needs your help!

A PHD is a locally governed entity that can expand access to vital services like primary care, mental health, and more. It’s not about building a new hospital—it’s about giving our community a voice in how healthcare is funded and delivered.

AEH is looking for volunteers to help gather petition signatures. No experience needed. You’ll learn about what a PHD is, why it matters, and how to collect signatures effectively and legally.
